Former Butcher Infants vocalist Carla Harvey has joined Belgian electronica act Lords Of Acid. In line with Lords Of Acid‘s supervisor Marc Jordan, “Carla is about to start recording vocals for the brand new Lords Of Acid album this winter and will probably be becoming a member of the band on a 27 date US tour in June.”
Harvey herself added: “I had three favourite bands in highschool: Weapons N’ Roses, Pantera and Lords of Acid. Every one formed me and uniquely influenced me as an artist. LOA had me hooked from the second I heard ‘I Sit On Acid’ as a young person dancing the night time away at Detroit’s goth Industrial Haven Metropolis Membership.
“My obsession with LOA solely grew after I noticed Coop‘s paintings on the duvet of ‘Voodoo U’. Now I get to file an album and go on tour with my industrial heroes! Pinch 16 12 months previous me! Harvey left Butcher Infants earlier in 2024 and has since launched a brand new band known as The Violent Hour.
